What triggers allergies? Is a misinterpretation of your body? How can I reset?

Question by Adelchi: What triggers allergies? Is a misinterpretation of your body? How can I reset?
My legs and arms are iching badly sometimes it is like small bitings all over, specially at night, the skin is dry. It started during one extra-warm day.

Best answer:

Answer by PopsFirst off, try putting lotion on your body.

You cannot "reset" your body. Allergies, actually, are not caused by "things". What you feel and see are YOUR body's reaction to those items. If nothing helps, go to a good allergy doctor.

Q&A: How can you tell the difference between your allergies acting up and having a cold?????

Question by gemini.vixen: How can you tell the difference between your allergies acting up and having a cold?????

Best answer:

Answer by Kathryn RWith a cold you'll be running a temperature and with allergies you don't!!! A cold is caused by a germ, allergies are caused by an irritant. Your body deals with them differently, so with one you'll have a temp and with the other just the runny nose, watery and some times itchy eyes and maybe a scratchy throat.

Question by momof3cs: Can you have a fever with allergies?
My 13 month old son has had some seasonal allergies. He is not pulling or tugging on his ears, so I don't think they are an issue. Does a fever occur with allergies? We have been in the pool quite a bit, so wondering if …
