I've been having a congestion/cold I can't get rid of. Antibiotics don't work. I don't have a fever or body aches, just incessant congestion and sometimes coughing. I have two cats that I've had for a few years now. I just got this cold about a month ago. The congestion doesn't seem to fade much when I leave the house for a few hours, etc. Could this be my cats?

Some people suggest honey. With your symptoms, I would suggest tea with a spoon of honey, a bunch of lemon, and a dash of ginger or fresh ginger sliced into it. If nothing else, that should help with the nausea.
Meanwhile, get whatever you're allergic to out of your environment.

I got an allergy shot today that my doctor said would last about 3 months before I needed a new one. I had the same one last year while I was pregnant and it worked wonders!.
