Age‐dependent Modifications of HLA.DR Expression and Effect of Lipopolysaccharide on Cytokine Secretion of Peripheral Bloodstream Mononuclear Cells within the Seniors Population

AbstractHLA‐DR, a significant histocompatibility complex, MHC class II, is involved with distinct autoimmune conditions, disease susceptibility and disease resistance. Here, we investigate the impact of various age‐individuals on HLA.DR expression on peripheral bloodstream mononuclear cells (PBMCs) caused by lipopolysaccharide (LPS). The outcomes indicate that HLA.DR expression on PBMCs within the population aged over 70 years, considerably elevated as in comparison with this within the lower‐age groups by flow cytometry analysis (B–D r=.690, p=.000265). Additionally, then LPS stimulation, the amount of cytokine TNF‐α, IL‐6, and IL‐10 secretion by allogeneic T lymphocytes from different age ranges (A‐D) were considerably elevated (p&.05). Particularly, amounts of TNF‐α and IL‐6 were... More details: More infos...
