CONCLUSION: Single-dose formoterol inhalation decreases cardiovagal responsiveness and boosts the supportive tone in cardiac autonomous control, and regular employ of formoterol causes growth and development of ability to tolerate these effects. However, additive doses of formoterol cause lack of this tolerance.
